Communities all over the country will be coming together on National Night Out, Tuesday, August 2 to increase awareness about police programs and other anti-crime initiatives in an effort to promote safety and neighborhood unity.
Sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), the Montgomery County Department of Police is happy to host a variety of events to help neighbors get to know one another and to build community spirit while working to keep their neighborhood free of crime. Various Montgomery County communities are coming together for this special night of fun activities and safety promotion.
Near our very own White Oak communities, there will be the Briggs Chaney Community Event at East County Regional Services Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 3300 Briggs Chaney Road. This will be the 33rd year of National Night Out, so join in on a night that promotes the greater good of communities.
